How do I authenticate my ITFFF account with the SURFboard Central app?

Answer

NOTE: This article applies to the mAX W21, W121, W122 Express, W30, W130, W31, and W133 Routers.

SURFboard Central's Connected home feature is powered by IFTTT. IFTTT (If This Then That) is the best way to integrate apps, devices, and services to work together. Accessing Connected home for the first time requires ITFFF account to be authenticated with the SURFboard Central app. Only one IFTTT account can be authenticated per SURFboard account.

Authenticate IFTTT Account

Tap the My Experiences box or bottom-right icon.
Tap the Connected home box.
The Connected Home setup requires an IFTTT account to authenticate. Tap the Next button.
Enter the IFTTT account email address in the field, and then tap the Next button.
Tap the Copy icon to copy the SURFboard Central app password to authenticate with ITFFF. Tap the Continue button.
The ITFFF screen will open with the message, Verification email sent to.
Access the mailbox and locate the ITFFF email. Open the ITFFF email and tap the Verify button.
The IFTTT screen displays the message, Going to cs_pre_prod_services.
Enter the email address used to setup the SURFboard Central app in the Email field.
Paste the copied password in the Password field, and then tap the Sign in button.
The IFTTT screen displays the message, Connecting cs_pre_prod_services.
The ITFFF screen displays the message, Going to IFTTT Developers.
The IFTTT screen displays the message, Connecting to Developers.
IFTTT is now Connected.
Re-open the SURFboard Central app, and the Authenticate with IFTTT and with this Application displays Completed.
