The feature to turn off the SB6141 front panel LED lights is available on firmware version 1.0.7.3-SCM02 and later. The front panel LED lights, with the exception of the Power LED, can be turned off in the Web Manager.  This document describes how to turn off the front panel Receive, Send, Online, and Link LED lights in the Web Manager.
Turn Off the LED Lights
NOTE: If the SB6141 is connected to a router, it is recommended to disconnect the router and connect the SB6141 directly to a computer with an Ethernet cable.

Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.100.1 into the address box.  The Status page will appear.

Click the Configuration link on the top menu.  The Configuration page will appear.

Click the Turn off front panel LEDs except power LED drop-down menu and select Enable, then click the Save Changes button. Â
