Question
How do I configure the LAN settings in the SBG6580-2?
Answer
The SBG6580-2 also includes configurable options for the Local Area Network (LAN).  The LAN IP Address and DHCP range can be configured and modified to suit the needs of the network.  By default, the LAN IP address of the SBG6580-2 is 192.168.0.1.  This document contains the following sections:
NOTE 1: If the LAN IP address is modified to be in a different subnet (e.g. 192.168.8.1), the SBG6580-2 will automatically change the DHCP range to use addresses in that subnet.

NOTE 2: The subnet mask of the SBG6580-2 (255.255.255.0) cannot be modified.
