Question
How do I configure DDNS in my SBG6700-AC?
Answer
The SBG6700-AC supports the usage of Dynamic Domain Name System (DDNS).  DDNS service provides the ability to assign a static Internet domain name to a dynamic IP address, which allows the SBG6700-AC to be easily accessed from various locations over the Internet.  Dynamic DNS is disabled by default.  This document describes how to enable and configure Dynamic DNS.

NOTE: Dynamic DNS service is required, which can be obtained at the DynDNS website.

To Configure for DDNS

  1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key.  The Login page appears.

NOTE: By default the LAN IP address is 192.168.0.1.  If the default address has been changed, enter the custom address in the address box.
