When attempting to access the SBR-AC1750 configuration menu, the router prompts for a username and password. Â By default, the username is admin, and the password is password. Â However, the router's admin account password can be changed. Â This document describes how to change the password.
NOTE: If the router cannot be accessed using the default credentials, and password is unknown, then the router will only be accessible by doing a factory reset. Â Keep in mind that a factory reset will erase any custom settings, and may cause the Internet to be inaccessible. Â For instructions on how to do a factory reset, please refer to Article #
15564 - SBR-AC1750: Factory Reset.
Login Considerations:
- Password must be 8-12 characters, combination of upper/lower case, combination of numbers/letters.Â
- Passwords go into effect immediately. Â Restarting the router is not required for the password to take effect.
- Assigning an administrator password does not affect communication to the Internet.
