What do the LED lights indicate on my SVG2482AC Gateway?
Answer
This document describes the function of the front and back panel LED lights on the SVG2482AC.

Front Panel

LED IconBlinkingOn (Solid)
WPSWPS Pairing process is in progress.Not applicable - LED will turn OFF after the WPS-enabled device is connected.
PowerNot applicable- LED does not blink.Power is properly connected with power cord and the battery is not connected.
US/DSScanning for Upstream (Send) or Downstream (Receive) channel connection.Upstream (Send) and Downstream (Receive) channels are connected.
OnlineScanning for an Internet connection.SVG2482AC is connected to the home network.
Wireless 2.4 GHz

Any of the following applies:

  • 2.4 GHz wireless connection is made between the SVG2482AC and another Wi-Fi enabled device on the home network.
  • The WPS Pairing process between the SVG2482AC and the WPS-enabled device was successful.

 

Not applicable -  LED does not light up solid.

Wireless 5 GHz

Any of the following applies:

  • 5 GHz wireless connection is made between the SVG2482AC and another Wi-Fi enabled device on the home network.
  • The WPS Pairing process between the SVG2482AC and the WPS-enabled device was successful.

Not applicable -  LED does not light up solid.
