WR2100: IP Address Lookup

How do I find the IP Address on the WR2100 Wireless Repeater from my Access Point?

If a connectivity issue with WR2100 Wireless Repeater arises and www.mywifirepeater.net URL is inaccessible.  It is required to locate the IP Address assigned by the Access Point.  DHCP normally reserves an IP Address for each device that is connected to it.  The IP Address will be needed to login into the GUI of the WR2100.  This document describes how to locate the IP Address on the SBG gateway.

NOTE 1: This example shows how to access the SBG gateway in order to locate the IP Address.

NOTE 2: For third-party Access Point's, please refer to manufacturer.

To Find the IP Address on the SBG Gateway

1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.0.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key.  The Login page appears.
2. On the Login page:
   a.   Enter admin in the Username field.
   b.   Enter motorola in the Password field.

   c.   Click the Login button. The Home page appears.

    

   

    
3. Move mouse cursor over to the Basic tab and select the DHCP sub-link from the menu. The Basic - DHCP page appears.
4. On the Basic-DHCP page, the IP Address will be listed below the Client List section with the Host Name WR2100.
    
   

    

To Login the WR2100 Wireless Repeater

1. Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari.  Enter the IP Address of the WR2100 Wireless Repeater in the Address box, and press the Enter key.  The Login page appears.
2. On the Login page:
   a.   Enter admin in the Username field.

   b.   Enter password in the Password field.

   c.   Press the Enter key.  The ARRIS Setup page appears.
