The Wireless Network key (sometimes referred to as the wireless password) is located within the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the WTM652G/NA. By default, the WTM652G/NA is configured for a wireless connection using no encryption. This document describes how to locate the Wireless Network key in the GUI.
To Lookup the Wireless Network Key in the GUI
Launch a web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari. Enter http://192.168.2.1 into the address box, and press the Enter key. The Status page appears.
NOTE: By default the LAN IP address is 192.168.2.1. If the default address has been changed, enter the custom address in the address box.
On the left-hand menu, click on Wireless Setup. The Login page appears.
On the Login page, click the Submit button. The Channel and SSID page appears.
NOTE: If a password was created, enter in the password and click the Submit button.
On the left-hand sub-menu, click on Security. The Security page appears.
On the Security page, locate the Password (PSK) for the Wireless Network key.
NOTE: If the Security Mode is selected as WEP the Wireless Network key will be listed as Key 1 for 64Bit WEP and Key for 128Bit WEP.
To make a connection, configure the wireless client with the same SSID, WPA Version and Pre Shared Key as the gateway.
