Answer | The mAX router's 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz network broadcast identical SSIDs and share the same Wi-Fi password. Legacy Wi-Fi client devices may need to only connect to the 2.4 GHz network. The mAX router SSID can be separated to broadcast the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz network independently by disabling the feature Enable single SSID for 2.4G/5G bands. When disabled the 2.4 GHz SSID name ends with _2.4 and can be customized. By default Enable single SSID for 2.4G/5G bands is enabled. This document describes how to broadcast two SSIDs.    Broadcast Two SSID
- Tap the My Network icon on the bottom of the screen.
 - Tap the Network Management box.
 - Tap the Main Wi-Fi Network + button to expand the card, swipe the Enable single SSID for 2.4/5G bands slider to the left to disable it.
 - The changes are taking into effect.Â
 - The 5GHz and 2.4GHz tabs now appear. The mAX router will now broadcast the 5GHz and 2.4GHz SSIDs separately.
 - Tap the 2.4GHz tab to view the Network Name (SSID) and Password.Â
 - The 2.4 GHz network name is listed under Network Name (SSID). To view the Password tap the hidden eye icon.
